Carrie H. Calvin, CPA, is an Audit Manager at Bourgeois Bennett CPAs & Consultants. Carrie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and her Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Southeastern Louisiana University. Carrie is a member of the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants. Her industry specializations include healthcare entities, retail and maritime entities, insurance agencies, employee benefit plans along with non-profit organizations. Carrie is actively involved in her community. She is a graduate of Leadership Northshore and currently serves on their Board of Trustees. Carrie also serves on the Kids and Police (KAP) board, the United Way Audit Committee, the LCPA Career Awareness Committee & previously served on the LCPA Employee Benefits Committee. She is an active member of the Rotary Club of Slidell Northshore. Carrie is also the co-founder of Praying for our Peacemakers which drew national media attention for the outpouring of support after the shootings of police officers across our country. During the 2nd annual Praying for Our Peacemakers event Carrie was the producer of the “Do Something” video that featured over 200 local leaders, officers and ministers from her community. In 2016, Carrie received the Citizen Service Award from the Slidell Police Department and in 2017 the Leadership Northshore Alumni association named her the Alumni of the Year. Carrie is married to Eric Calvin and is the mother of two young daughters, Cayenne and Cypress. During her off time, Carrie enjoys designing, traveling and contributing back to her community.
